Slavery is when someone owns you and you have to work for them without receiving any value in return.

This is exactly what is happening in the modern world. Parasites who create money from nothing give it to everyone else in exchange for work, but the money they create actually has no value — they don’t do any real work to produce it.

The trick was to convince everyone that they are free, and then that the money parasites create has any real value. And they successfully did both.
