I tend to prefer to make my own decisions based on knowledge. I have no interest in other peoples opinion (in a nice way 😂 ).

I don't want to re-iterate the arguments, but OCEANs goal of giving miners control of the blocks is the very ideal of decentralisation.

I've seen plenty of OCEAN blocks mined where the miner created their own template to include or exclude the transactions they wanted. This is decentralisation.

More importantly the concerns about pool centralisation are very clearly founded.

I've not heard any valid reasons why this is bad.

I’m certainly no expert. The criticism I’ve read mostly is on Open Source Miners United group (Discord) saying they are not really as decentralized as claimed. Too much control by owners I guess…?

I doubt OCEAN, the company, is decentralised. Discussing this is a distraction.
