it's a big conversation.
Saying this, it's like you somehow cancel the work of photographers and most of the digital artists, or a piece of art that it's not "touchable" (which is invincible imo).
The painting or sculpting skill maybe is missing (even most of the people experimenting seriously already have it, or they come from the "art space"), but every "choice" among infinite "paths" of the process, (plus knowledge you must have about light, colour, synthesis, art history etc.), tends me to believe that this is a new form of art.
