I really think offering sharded key storage/recovery is an important feature to consider for newcomers. These people are going to lose their keys en masse.

I’ve been mentally trying to come up with some form of username/password scheme. But will probably have to be sometime next year I can try working on something like that.
I've been working on an addon for e-commerce platforms where merchants will be able to hold a key shard for customers who convert their accounts to Nostr and choose to enable recovery. I've definitely found it tricky for a reliable/secure solution that will work across different platforms.
