I recently gave my one and only television to a friend who uses it more than I ever will. I am yet again tv-less. Just the way Iike it.
The last 3 TVs I owned were hand me downs. 2 eventually broke and this last one I gave away.
I don’t need a TV.

I don't have any facts to back this up, but I suspect you may have added a few years of life to your timeline in giving away your last TV.
Good stuff!
😄 I want to believe that too, Shash. TV kills a braincell or two every minute, IMO. I don’t have facts to back it up either.
My TV became my pc Screen, or the second screen of the laptop. Some Netflix movies or sport events, but it's always on streaming, not paid service of course.
I thought about that. Using it as a monitor instead but it’s quite big. 👀
mine is a 42' and I connected it with a long HDMI cable, since it's more than 3m from where I watch it, is fine. I use wireless mouse and keyboard of course 😁
I'm only using it to cast Youtube on it.
I haven't watched regular TV programs for years and it hurts me I can not escape paying bills for national TV/radio service.
It's fucking mandatory to pay it and soon they will increase the prices.
The only way to escape the bill is to became homeless 😔
Rn, I'm paying 13€ a month for nothing. That's like 289,200 sats per year. MFers
Yea, we do too. Something like CHF29 per month. I try not to think about it.
I have a tv that i used it only for a while as a monitor to display a personal dashboard with the local weather and some rss feeds using flask in a raspberry pi zero. I might do it again in the future if i find time to implement also calcurse or something similar on the dashboard that can be synchronised with caldav.
I never had a microwave and i never will. I use something like this
