In the latest episode of RHR, nostr:npub1qny3tkh0acurzla8x3zy4nhrjz5zd8l9sy9jys09umwng00manysew95gx and nostr:npub1guh5grefa7vkay4ps6udxg8lrqxg2kgr3qh9n4gduxut64nfxq0q9y6hjy shared some insights for the Nostr community. * Timing: Nostr is posiitoned well in terms of timing for mainstream adoption, especially with concerns about censorship and the need for decentralization.

* Censorship Resistance: This aspect of Nostr is a significant improvement over centralized social media. It allows users to have more control over what they see and interact with.

* User-Friendly Onboarding: Nostr has the potential to be way easier to setup than other platforms that require a lot of PII so it's important to make the onboarding process more user-friendly. It needs to be easier to get a pre-populated feed and not need to worry as much about choosing relays. Private keys are not the main friction point.

* Moderation: Nostr should continue to prioritize user control and community moderation, allowing users to mute or filter content according to their preferences. Ex: Primal lets you choose another user's mute list.

* Lightning Integration: Many users are still using custodial wallets. Onboarding users to non-custodial Lightning wallets can be a bit challenging.

* Private Key Security: It would be good to have a mechanism for a backup private key in case of compromise. It's not a top priority compared to other usability improvements however, this is still important to ensure user security.

* US Election Cycle: This is a potential catalyst for increased adoption of Nostr, as users may seek platforms that offer more freedom of expression and less censorship during politically-charged times.
