Okay, this has been weighing on me for quite some time:

I am afraid Ethereum is going to "win". The reason I think this, is because I think ETH is most like our current system, and therefore the easiest to transition too, and it's easier to influence.

At one point I, extremely hyperbolically, thought it would lead to the next great age of human suffering. What can I say, I have a flair for the dramatic.

I am probably wrong about my assessment of what ETH is, but one of the reasons I left it behind is because of above. There is also a social component that is out of scope, but also was a big contribution to why I stopped.

Nah. It’s like the current system in the sense of centralization, being overly complicated, and having a ruling class

But it’s way more complicated

Plus “normies” do think NFTs and endless crypto tokens are a scam. Once they realize this is Eutherieuem™️’s primary use case, they won’t want anything to do with it

Right now is just funny business from insiders trading in ways that make people think what you just explained

I spent a good two years full immersed in that world. I'm still sorting through some old baggage from then.
