If evolution does indeed have an underlying set of goals to maximise an individual beings survivability, reproduction and its ability thrive in its environment, then I’m starting to contemplate the possibility that

evolution has some sort of divine process that is guiding beings towards an “Omega Point” where evolution has fulfilled its purpose and every being ends up in a state of absolute freedom.
