The state is literally a monopoly that puts a gun on your head if you don't agree with them. This conserves bad ideas and creates a massive barrier for good ideas.

Are you surprised that healthcare, banking, airlines and other state monopolised industries are such a mess?

Voting in a new head of this monopoly isn't going to solve anything. The monopoly has to be abolished so that good ideas get a chance and bad ideas get destroyed.
