Every time I see a fediverse note I feel a bit sorry for them because they have never experienced zaps.

Yeah, me too.
I was just wondering about this. Zaps aside, do people on Mastodon ā whose posts appear in my nostr feed ā see a reply to their post if I send it from a nostr client?
Would they need to be intentionally connected from their end somehow? I know very little about how mastodon works š¤·āāļø
Come to think of it, Iām not sure how I see their notes or why. Maybe if Iām following a particular hashtag, and one of my relays is able to pick up mastodon content..?
They can, and have, zapped via zapple pay.
They can also set a ā” field in their mastodon profile for lighting address and mostr will translate it over so you can zap them.
So they had it all along but nobody uses it.. sigh
Could the bridge auto populate the lightning address field with npub.cash address? nostr:npub108pv4cg5ag52nq082kd5leu9ffrn2gdg6g4xdwatn73y36uzplmq9uyev6 ?
