Highlight of my week so far was the Bitcoin Research Club meeting at my college on Monday. I went through the process of creating this club at the beginning of the semester. The other student involved is from the Welding program. Not one of the majors I would have expected, he is also very interested in studying #Bitcoin

He welded a piece of metal with the BTC symbol and the year that we are going to put in a time capsule with the Bitcoin Whitepaper for an event the college will hopefully moving forward with. It's still in the planning stages to see how many clubs are interested.

We discussed some current events in the industry, the Binance case, self-custody, transaction fees, raspberry pi projects, and more. Talking to someone else about Bitcoin in my community is very rewarding and motivating 😀

I see this leading toward a local meetup on the weekends down the road.
