Oh snap! You're right! Funny, I didn't love the movie when I first saw it in theaters, but have since come to like it very much.

Still wanna memorize that V intro he gives 🔥🔥

I think the book is better, as I'm required by law to declare since I've read the book and watched the movie.

My reason is that I think the book is more timeless but they made the movie a bit about the specific time so it seems more dated even though it came out years later.

I was going to ask if you'd read the book and realized I wasn't sure if there was one. Thought it may have been a graphic novel or something.

Seems like it'd be a fun read. Adding to virtual list :)

Yeah, graphic novel. Written by the guy who wrote Watchmen, from hell, and league of extraordinary gentlemen. He hates every movie adaptation of his books.

I've seen all of those movies and read Watchmen, and V for Vendetta. Based on the two I've read I understand his position.

Oh nice. Somehow expected graphic novels were beneath you haha.

I've heard watchmen is outstanding, movie and show were decent too, but can see where a lot would be missing. Dr Manhattan is such a cool character, it'd be cool to get a better idea of what he's all about.

I recently read a graphic novel (posted a note two days ago) about math history. Was surprisingly good and fast to read, but unless you're into the subject, can't quite recommend

Nope. Definitely read a few graphic novels over the years.

There is soo much more going on in the watchmen book than the movie, though the movie is good. The entire tales of the black freighter is missing.

Intrigued officially 👀

In watchmen more than v but both.

Watchmen is a way bigger commitment, much longer book than V.
