For your books section I recommend Fat of the Land by Vilhjalmur Steffanson.
Steffanson was an arctic explorer who adopted (and popularized) the "Arctic diet" which was carnivore. Upon returning to the US he spent a year at Bellevue hospital under observation eating nothing but meat to prove to the medical establishment that such a feat was possible.
