I went to Europe with a backpack and a smaller roller bag. Never checked it. Wore Jeans daily which should not be washed as much as we wash them. I also learned that Americans are just way too clean.

It was a smaller roller bag, and it was my favorite for many many many years. Let me see if I can find it an example of it.
