Garden is getting closer to being put to bed. Got the fencing and fence posts pulled out today. Have a couple of 1-2” tree roots/stumps to dig out of the corners. Then a silage tarp going on until spring. I’ve read not to put on the tarp too early if there are going to be some warm days since it can be too hot for the soil microbes. We probably have a few 80F days left, should I wait until even cooler weather to tarp? #gardenstr #asknostr

I think eventually it may evolve into cinder block raised beds. My cousin built some for his garden and they look pretty darn good.
