Sats can be sent through any form of digital communication. They are just speech essentially.

Apple regulated Damus (a Nostr client) into removing a button to make it convenient to send payments on posts. Nobody can stop Bitcoin peer to peer payments. People using versions before Apples ban or other apps are unaffected.

Apple can’t stop zaps. They can stop apps from being released in their AppStore but nostr is a protocol, not an app. You can login to #nostr from every browser and #zap with every client that supports zaps. Apple can’t forbid using url’s. Zaps are nothing more than urls being called but instead of https:// they start with something like: lightning://

Good luck stopping text. Add a Lightning Address to your profile and experience the power of #zaps.

You can use nostr:npub1hcwcj72tlyk7thtyc8nq763vwrq5p2avnyeyrrlwxrzuvdl7j3usj4h9rq for instance, or nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm or any other Lightning compatible wallet. Explore, and enjoy!

Using muun x plebstr setup was a breeze !

You can’t receive zaps with Muun though. You’ll need a wallet that supports LN addresses (email like addresses) like purhorse@ln.tips or selfishforest96@walletofsatoshi.com and add that to your profile. WoS or Alby are easiest to setup for this.

interesting, it seemed to be able to receive lightning, but WoS seems to be a popular choice ill look into it

Don’t want to fill you in with all details but Muun isn’t really ‘Lightning’, sort of but not exactly: better to start of with one of the other choices for easiest integration and dive in deeper when you’re ready :)

You are good to go now!

Enjoy the #zaps
