Alcohol is filth, pure poison. There's no such thing as a "healthy amount of alcohol consumption", that's exactly zero. And the folks who sell or serve alcohol are drug dealers. Poison dealers. Alcohol can be used for tinctures, for herbal medicine.
But that stuff is concentrated to the point where you only need to consume one drop of it at a time to get the medicinal effects.
Nothing against using it for medical reasons if it helps. I sometimes use Eau de Cologne myself to disinfect a cut when I don't have anything else around the house.
Saying every form of drinking is degeneracy or calling everyone in the business a “poison dealer” flattens the whole story and ignores the evolutionary, social, economic, and cultural roles fermentation has played throughout history. The real problem is that modern alcohol is engineered for potency and overuse in ways we didn’t evolve to handle.
