Calling someone "the saddest people of x place" is kinda disrespectful though.

Not that I feel personally offended, I couldn't care less whether you agree or not in how I use the different ways of interacting in Nostr.

No, it’s not disrespectful to say that. It’s a true assessment. The fact that it cuts through someone’s misconceptions of value the same way as calling ETH or Solana owners “shitcoiners” does not make it disrespectful. It’s more disrespectful to ignore issues than to raise them.

value is subjective. misconception of value? lol

C'mon mate, that's your opinion on how people should use the protocol, not "a true assessment". You know the difference between those two.

It’s a true assessment. Likes/reactions are worthless. They should be eliminated from the protocol.

worthless to you. i don't care what's worthless to you. do your own protocol and clients 🖕

am I doing it right?

They are worthless to you, and that's fine. To others they might not be worthless.

They are worthless. It doesn’t matter how much you scream otherwise. 🤷‍♂️

Not screaming, just talking to a brick wall

Look in a mirror dipshit.

Go wank a bit, you seem on the edge today

🤣🫂

Agree. Let people do as they please. Clearly, if people like reactions then they have some worth to them. They may not have monetary worth but life is not all about money. Sometimes a well placed emoji reaction has more impact than any amount of money (and is more appropriate) for example 🫂

And furthermore you’re no smarter than a shitcoiner if you’ve spent any time on other social media and now nostr and still want to use them.
