I bought a cast iron toaster or pie iron as some people say it, to use it mainly in the fireplace to make toasts. Such a good purchase, the best toasts and without electricity. Try it, it really improves life quality.

I also made a rain collector next to my greenhouse. No need to carry water anymore, big improvement. The greenhouse was also an improvement anyway.

Moreover i started selfhosting various services on raspberry pi zeros like file server, bookmark manager, pictures collection, media player etc. That can help a lot if organised fairly well
