Same for me on Google camera on my pixel. Was able to use a QR Code scammer app to get the text and then copy.
I hope it ist not a scammer app :) and y hope you use a firewall so that this information can't leak.

Use offline (the good ones work that way) delete afterwards etc.
Or go to F-Droid and use SecScanQR. It's FOSS and reproducible.
