My heart dropped that time ngl

Dude I was new-ish and didn’t get Bitcoin all the way yet. But I did understand it’s either you’re in Bitcoin and you buy more when it dumps or you’re out. My intuition told me Bitcoin is the right thing to hodl, so I nutted up and literally dumped the last of my fiat in at 5k. Was such a sick buy looking back 😂😂 but I was sweating bad
Man I remember I was in shock during that drop. I was using coinbase at that time and I was like ☠️
It was gnarly
This is a drop for ants 🤣🤣🤣
I wonder if a liquidity crisis is upon us 🤔
😂🐜
Feels like some type of macro movement is on the horizon. I think the Fed is going to cut rates so dems can try to use subsequent market pamp as an election chess piece.
Seems like the crash was in the paper (fiat, bonds) and relative price of everything else crashed up bc underlying monetary unit lost a lot its value.
I didn't understand Bitcoin well enough when that happened.
I didn't realise the opportunity that I'd missed until it had recovered to $8k again.
Shat & cursed myself the whole way down but sat on the sats that weren't liquidated. I fucked around & found out.
8k is still a nice place to get it. Tough to remember those times we could’ve gotten a lot more Bitcoin though.
I had a client who was an annoying rich kid who tried to pay me in Bitcoin for weed in 2015. He did a terrible job explaining it and at the time I had a shitty old flip phone and a beat up dell desktop and that was it. Wasn’t into tech stuff and what he explained to me didn’t make any sense and I didn’t want to mess with weird fake money. Turned him down emphatically, hurts to think about.
I respect you more now that I know you were a pot dealer that discovered the value of #bitcoin
Turning canna to corn since 2019🫡
I have a weird story. Went to a top 20 business school and did well there, got into growing and loved it, used some of the stuff I’d learned in business school to scale my business. I’ve always been a saver and luckily I found Bitcoin along the way. Really helped me level up in life.
I’m retired from growing now and on to bigger things but I loved those times hustling and growing herb. Spend over a decade in the trenches. Stressful and fun.
