Rpi zero is almost always out of stock.
It's super challenging to acquire conventional HWWs in places like Russia, China & parts of the Middle East. But what DO bitcoiners in these places have access to? Raspberry Pi Zero and the other basic components you need to build a SeedSigner.

This is not true, numerous suppliers in many countries have stock in-hand right now:
We have only one supplier in Thailand, and the company complains that Bitcoiners are buying up all the pi_s. 🤣
I get notified when new shipment comes in though.
Zero 2 are all sold out, but Zero has just became available. 😀
Same here, one authorized supplier and they out of stock since i think 2020
Supply is returning to the market rapidly, if you're interested to source a Pi you should check in with them.
Is it a good idea to buy a 1.3 2015 used raspberry pi zero? Or secondhand too big of a risk?
I don't see significant risk with a used 1.3. Of course don't communicate the intended purpose for the board, but I would use a pre-owned 1.3 all day long.
