Sony just had a huge cybersecurity leak for their PS5.
Keys that are hard coded into the silicon (meaning a software update can’t fix) were leaked.
This is basically jailbreaking the PS5 so expect to see emulators coming out everywhere most likely! Wild! 85M consoles!
Time to go and grab one of these I think.
Imagine how poor your security is that this can leak.
Now imagine it’s a fleet of Tesla’s, BYD’s or neuralink’ers.
All toast.
Have none of and plan to never have.
For those keys to be leaked they must have just been sitting around in plain text or a very high level manager is about to get buried.
