Where is that page that shows Zaps ā”ļø received and spent? I just spent 40k in Sats to be a part of Damus, send Zaps ā”ļø and get Zaps ā”ļø. I figure maybe this app is going somewhere? I think having a hub/node is important? I think thatās what I spent the last 8 hours and 40k in Sats on? I donāt know if Alby is a good product? It was the only wallet available from what I could gather on this app.
if you want to have a better experience go with a custodial lightning wallet like wallet of satoshi or coinos.io with NWC and Alby go (not alby hub)
there are more clients besides damus... primal or yakihonne are good too
also there are many web "pages" and apps that connect to nostr all of them with different information on display
also keep that nsec key safe
I needed the Hub for AlbyGo thatās the reason I did it. Itās supposed to be a lightning ā”ļø node. They just sent me an email congratulating me for setting it up with a link š to a list of apps (all you mentioned) to connect. The list is also in the hub. The question is how much is it going to cost me to keep this all going? Is it going to drain my stack or compliment it? Of course everything is earned and I donāt mind paying a reasonable fee for a service or product that benefits me. Time will tell. So far it has cost me 40k Sats and Iām not sure what I got out of it yet?
all clients i mentioned (including damus) you can use for free.. coinos and wallet of satoshi are also free.. so you can basically be part of nostr for free
maybe start with this free route and support the developers directly with zaps or pay for premium apps later when you get a hold of how things work....
Too late now itās already done and those options you mentioned are more foreign to me than what I have. I assume Iād have to create a wallet with them as well arenāt may payments to send sats helping the network. I paying to receive sats also, not sure thatās hooked up correctly. I have to pay. To buy. Sats and. Use them. Thatās the name of the game. I was under the assumption that with a node I could receive sats for no charge? If I had enough in reserve or on the blockchain. I still clearly have some learning to do regarding how to earn significant amounts of sats from something I am creating or providing as goods or services. I donāt know maybe there is a therapy site, I can use my LCSW and provide therapy services to people and earn sats. Maybe I can utilize my carpentry skills and build a deck, wood/metal house framing or blocking work, small renovation? I prefer my social work skills Iām getting a bit old for construction. I do like building things especially for myself and friends.

Hahahaha. I should apologize. Iām just thinking and writing the beginning of clearly show I wasnāt paying full attention, didnāt proof read. I got Sats enough to set up a Node, itās part of the journey. Itās another option for me to have full custody of my Sats on the lightning network. If it doesnāt work out Iāll move whatās left. Clearly I can babble BTC is an adventure who knows where any of this is going? Hard core BTC coiners preach about connecting to the Network running a Node. Honestly, it would solve any doubt if you recorded a video saying you use Nostr and Bitcoin and shared here. Would be good to confirm. As you can imagine thereās a lot of scammers around.
