If:

- the Bitcoin mining network is at 1 ZH/s (10^21)

- an ASIC chip runs at 1 TH/s (10^12)

- there are 100 million US households (10^8)

Then we need 10^(21-12-8) = 10^1 = only 10 chips per US household to match the current hashrate! 🔥

If the world has 1 billion households (conservative by 1/2), that’s only 1 chip per household!

Who's bullish on distributing mining? nostr:npub1p0d256yljvn3pl82gpkmdyfqlxcmu6px63msrpmuauzha8yq4eeqprfpqe

Maybe a quarter of the world needs heating at any given time of year. Much more than that can use hot water almost every day. Don't forget electric clothes dryers. Put those ASICs to work!
