My 2 bitaxes bring in about 100 sats per day. At a cost of about double what the market rate of sats is. At this rate, it’ll be a long time before I get in to positive territory, and will never do better than just having bought the sats directly, but it’s fun.

Just lottery mine at that point, that’s what I do

It looks cool. Do you have other things that look cool & pay for themselves?

(Rad. if you do)

But maybe they're truely kyc free?

You’re supposed to go solo with Bitaxe.

A lottery. It’s either a full block or nothing.

With 2 TH/s, the probability of finding a block is 1 in 9,000 years 🤣🤣🤣

Oh, is that all? Maybe I’ll lottery mine then :)

Bitaxe is really a lottery miner, even with free power you're never going to 'break even' unless you get super lucky and mine a block.

Exactly.

Ever hear of the 21.co bitcoin miner? It was this little single board computer with an asics and all it could do was mine these silly things called millibits but it took like a month or more. I think that was the last era where you could actually eventually pay for your miner as a home hobbyist…but it took like a decade to break even 😂

Never heard of it! I got into mining this past year with an S9 and S19 underclocked to run off a 20 amp breaker. Combined they mine around 2,400 sats/day and do a great job keeping my office/gym area heated.

Great toys for understanding mining, a horrible investment though.
