not a big fan, the laptops are amazing, hardware wise, the OS is just incompatible with a lot of things dev. Like: Emulation softwares, cuda drivers for machine learning, and loads of little things that just make the laptop a useless box for that usecase.
as a non-dev and an aspiring design, it’s just eye candy for me at the end of the day
I really love macbooks … but also love Linux. 😵💫

It's in a very early state on the new Mac hardware.
I suspect drivers are going to be the most problematic, also I’m not aware of the state of linux libraries on arm
Yeah I can see that, tbh I don’t hate them as much since I got my PC 😂the fact that they are extremely portable and work around 80% of the time is a great seller anyway, but the hardware is capable of so much more 🥺
music industry used macbooks all time due to the interoperability and stability that they provide
