I am page 14 ... he is talking about someone who called on was on socialism, which was intended to a "plundering" gov. To me it feels he is describing what Fascism actually did few years later, am I wrong?

I have to admit that reading this books makes me feel like we have no hope at all. On one side we have the gov, on the other we have people who just want to become richer, which basically do the same game.

And this shit seems that was exactly the same at the times Bastiat was writing this.. it feels like he is speaking about what is happening today.

I tend to agree with his takes, like, when the law is perverse and it's actually permitting legal plunder, it makes become politics to much important! That is what is happening today. I would say is also true the opposite, when politics is to present in people lives, it means that law is facilitating plunder
