Thanks for the info. I use lightning terminal to set some spending limits and prevent other actions from occurring on mobile, but the node to node channel approach is starting to seem like it would make more sense.

If you have the technical chops you may even want to do a trusted funding channel. You will save on onchain fees too.

It is an advanced set up though. Not recommended unless you can get your hands dirty

Oh, I’m down to get them dirty 🫡🤣 doing small projects like this are the highlight of my week. Nothing more fun than tinkering with lightning.
