I wonder if anyone falls for these copypasta scams? Whats the ROI on these?
Discussion
Not sure of the ROI but Scamroline Something gave me great investment advice, you know.
I assume the "I" on ROI is quite low so any "R" is good. Is like fishing with a big ass net.
Is it though? I wonder whats the hit rate per copypasta posted. I hope its like 1 in 100000 or something.
I assume the hit rate is extremely low, but the cost is near zero too. You can probably run several instances at a time in a 10 yo laptop and post them into multiple places simultaneously.
The last idiot hasn't been born yet. It's a numbers game.
I recently encountered a man who was scammed by the classic "you have crypto in an account with us you bought a long time ago, pay $X to us in taxes and we'll send it to you" scam phone call.
He never bought crypto and yet he fell for it. Doesn't get better that a fair share of the scammers are slaves.
