You know when we turn the radio down to see better on the road? If you walk while drinking coffee, the coffee can be disgusting and you won't mind.

The radio thing is so true lul

it is. but I wonder if this is universal, or more likely for people with sensory-integration issues? some find it hard to concentrate on a task, like writing code or reading for comprehension, with music playing (worse when there are lyrics). which makes sense to me, interfering streams of linguistic input to parse.

I blow on my ice cream to cool it down more.

Same ๐Ÿ˜‚. Not all the time, but more often than I'd like to admit.

Always turn the radio off when backing my trailer up. Focus is key. Remove all distractions. Plus you gotta listen for anything not expected.

But "coffee can be disgusting"? That just means you need better coffee beans and technique.

If you use amethyst, the like button can just disappear and you wont mind.

I've only read about 50ish pages into think fast, think slow but i already understand this will perfectly fit into what the author describes as "system 2 (think slow) taking over."

Nobody turns the radio down to "see better". They turn down it because it's distracting.
