I haven't fully comprehended everything in the Bible yet so haven't gone looking for other sources. But a book written 1800 years after events claiming to have more specific information than things written within 100 years of said event seems to be a bit suspect.

Fair enough. I tend to believe that the akashic records are real, and that a creator that loves us is never done communicating with us.
Like I said before, the only way for us to "know" anything is to trust our hearts and intuition to see if something resonates there
I agree he isn't done speaking to us. 8 also agree that the canon is not perfect and there has definitely been human meddling and twisting included in it. it seems like this book might contradict some teachings in other Gospels and points to Jesus being a smart man instead of the son of God and that any human can become like Jesus on earth through their own understanding. That seems very concerning on its face. Am i misunderstanding something?
