Felt like sharing some light this beautiful Sunday….

This Is Domenique (pic posted with his permission). He is 16 years old, a long time patient and the most bullied kid I have ever met. Broken teeth, broken glasses, broken clavicle and numerous bruises and black eye between one middle school and two high schools. Last week he came to my husband and I for a donation. There are 18 kids at his high school who have unpaid cafeteria balances. He was raising money to pay off those balances and pay for all 18 kids to have breakfast & lunch every day for the last month of school. Two of the 18 were his previous bullies. When we asked him why he would want to raise money for the kids who had bullied him he said, “I know I get mad and irritable when I’m hungry. Why would they be any different.” 🥹
