i got an s9 and some futurebits too but similar to you too hot to run right nowbut buying some hash and soaking up high fees is viable.

You pay for electricity + a rental fee for the hashrate? Are the rates stable or it varies when the fees fluctuate?

its an auction, pay sats for hashrate from people with miners that want to auction it off forca set period of time. or you can buy instantly, typically at a premium above the going FPPS rate.

rigly is cool. cuz you are actually renting from individual miners, one buy or auction at a time and getting to point their hashrate at the pool of your choice.
