Having the NIP stuff controlled over GitHub PRs is an antipattern. Can't have an open protocol and then manage changes over corporate junk that doesn't even let everyone have an account and doesn't let you post without an e-mail adress.

I'd love to see a repository which tells me which clients have implemented which version of each nip.

That way the bar for accepting a nip and or updating it nip would be a lot lower as they could be filtered by usage.
