Well, good to work there. I won’t live there again. 😆 left 25 years ago. Sometimes I miss it, but I do visit at least. It’s not what it was.
I left and bought places in Texas because I thought the same. I did come back because in my opinion it’s better here…for me. I do live in a bit of a bubble, I will acknowledge.
