[Howto] MacOS user? Use Tor across the system (any browser, any app)

1. Install Tor

* Open Terminal

– brew install tor

– brew services start tor

2. Set network proxy

* System Preferences → Network

* Location dropdown → Edit locations

* New Location → Advanced → Proxies

* Enable "SOCKS Proxy"

* SOCKS Proxy Server: localhost

* Port: 9050

* OK → Apply

3. FYI

* Check your connection: https://check.torproject.org

* Locations (Tor/Clearnet) can be changed at any time

* Tor is running after system restart too
