The widder woman from up the road was cleaning out her husbands stuff and knew I was into ham radio, so she gave me this Hallicrafters S-120 reciever from the early 1960's as well as a pair of older S-38's. I replaced the cord and the capacitors that are prone to failure and now it works. Pretty cool. They don't make them like that anymore.
