to plant today's portion of the lawn i had to readjust a sprinkler head

pro tip: if there is a bad patch in your lawn often it means a sprinkler isn't covering it for some reason

yesterday i bought the sprinkler tool to adjust the head but today i had to watch the fucking videos on how to do it and as you might expect every one was made by a retard and the manual was written by a retard as well

ultimately my hand slipped and i was certain i killed it but then it did exactly what i wanted it to do - despite me doing ( accidentally ) the literal thing the manual said not to do

works perfectly now

but that's not the fucked up part - i couldn't understand why it worked so i googled it and google AI gave the correct instructions - said to do what i had actually ( accidentally ) done

two youtubers and the manual all got it wrong and i got it right accidentally while AI simply just got it right

we should all be scared - i am serious

my advise is learn as much about AI as you can - it will change the world the same way internet has - and if you don't understand it you will be a dinosaur - a joke

at the very least you must know what it can and cannot do

This is correct - I've also used it at my programming job because it allows you to learn APIs way faster, or even whole new programming languages, not to mention you can use it to generate code and automate a lot of the boilerplate stuff which is tedious (you only have to debug it - this is where it would get tricky for junior devs or someone who knows nothing about coding).

And yes, it does appear to know a lot about practical day-to-day things. I know someone who used it to learn gardening rapidly for example. In many cases I actively avoid search engines these days and just ask AI - in most cases you will get better results if it's just some question that needs answered.
