Unfortunately there's still some stubborn group chats on Telegram that I need, but also looking forward to the day I can nuke my account there.
Any messaging claiming to be encrypted or secure these days is scammy. If you somehow have no backdoors in your devices, for one thing I have no idea how you know that, and for another thing I guarantee people you talk to have backdoors in their devices anyway
Telegram is not the same as Signal and SimpleX.
Telegram is primarily a social media app, whereas Signal and SimpleX are primarily messaging apps.
That said, I'm leaving Telegram after 8 years because just this past year they've started putting people in Telegram jail for speaking out against all this woke cultural Marxism being crammed down everyone's throat.
