When you find yourself in a situation, and you realize timetables and events are being dictated by someone’s personality and emotions rather than the actual needs of the situation, stop immediately, and reclaim your own time, thoughts, and sovereignty.

Then evaluate the needs of the situation rationally.

If that person then throws a tantrum, and tries to guilt and shame you for not following their desires, you can be sure you had allowed yourself to come under their psychological control.

To get out, find yourself again, and evaluate your life, surroundings, needs, and wants, outside of anyone else’s input.
