Just saw an old friend after not seeing each other in a few years…
Can’t believe how pessimistic he was… maybe it’s more if a self reflection because of everything Ive gone through, that I’m now the eternal optimist.
Blows my mind that I used to commiserate with him like this 🤯

He defaulted to negativity but used the “I’m being real w/you” on every topic.
He just sent me an apology.. turns out he was just being extra miserable that day.
