I think it would be possible client side. Connect to any relay, and filter based on user prefs. Something like Apple Music onboarding, maybe. Peak topics that resonate the most and then get recommended feed with recommendations whom to follow. I wouldn’t trust relays here! 🐶🐾🫡

And is this probably the most “optimal” way for “algorithms” to be implemented on #nostr too?

Not necessarily. It is possible to have curated relays that push events based on internal logic and not time it was posted. 🐶🐾🫡
