GM,Nostr friends! How are you doing today? 🌞💜

I am trying to occult a file on my MacBook using the command “chflags hidden” in the terminal, but it didn’t work.

I tried other ways as well, and none of them did what I wanted to do. My idea was to hide some files I have in case someone had access to my computer. Does anyone here know how can I do that?

Thanks for helping me. I love all of you. 🫂

mv filename .filename

This command work maybe? Or create a new folder and name it with a dot prefix (e.g., .hiddenfolder).

Move your files into this folder. The folder will be hidden by default.
