I was in Shanghai about a year and a half ago and I think we corresponded on here a bit during that time

hows things over there generally? is there any particularly good time to go back?

Well, I’d say Shanghai is probably back 85% to pre Covid days. That said, for various reasons there are hardly any foreigners around. I don’t mind that to be honest.
