Encountered my first mean surfer. Made me sad. Our boards hit on a big crash and mine chipped hers. I immediately apologized, said I was a beginner, and offered to pay in a very calm and kind manner. She immediately got angry, yelled what the f!ck man, and told me I was in her way. (~obviously~)

How you deal with situations says a lot about your character. When you operate in aggression and f!ck you mentality even when met with kindness, it just makes me sad for your own wellbeing. Being that quick to anger and blame over little things isn’t necessary.
