I find myself spontaneously thinking about Nostr, like, a LOT.
Everything - “need to nost this” and “nostr fixes this” to “that would be a great client/micro-app” and “can that stuff be transmitted by relays?”
Is it just me?

im not here to engage anyone neither myself into using nostr, i literally have not even a motive to set up my lightning wallet to a social media
and also, im here for years, this is just my account where i just say things about going against the use of social media, anonimizing myself from any engagement and being exactly what i preach
You made the statement that lot of things can be "nostred"; im sorry if i sounded rough; please read this as im just being educated. I have some issues in this.
Mostly ppl that are not in web development doesnt understand a lot from devOps and distributed networks; There are a lot of systems that cannot find relays profitable enough to stand themselves. If there's too much data in their flows or if there's the need for speed on posting to get users, relay system may not stand themselves as they would get too expensive.
As an example, see the problems that we've met trying to set up a decentralized youtube. It uses heavy data (videos) and needs to be fast (buffer slightly fast as the video run). This is an example that could not be nostred. This also applies to a lot of encrypted financial structures, and other data such as games and stuff like these.
Not alone, though it is going to take a while... longer than we'd expect. Because 'we' 'get it' Normies, not so much. FB, X, and all the rest have a huge advantage atm. Bring on Age limits I say, Nostr is here for the fall out..
For sure, agreed. It’s one of those things where I see so many ways that nostr could offer an answer, or at least an improvement, to various questions, problems, situations.
Some of that stuff will take time to build - moreover, it will take time to unfold, if it ever does - but knowing there’s a “safety net” (same thing for Bitcoin) to some of these potential dystopias makes such a difference in outlook.
