Yes, that's really nice. I haven't lived in a rural area for very long. Just going for a walk in the forest is something special for me too. I appreciate that. But sometimes I miss the city 😂

rural life >>>> city life

Though i’ve always stayed in a city, noisiest & always traffic around me.

I grew up in a small village. Then I moved to the city to study and stayed there. I like the opportunities in the city. Restaurants, cinemas, theaters, cafés, museums... the variety and the short distances. But it's true, the traffic is annoying. I'm just getting to know the advantages of country life 😂 - again

that’s really wonderful… also the life compared to city is pretty slow. as we grow we realise how much it is important to have an peaceful environment

You're probably right. However, there is more to a peaceful environment than city or county side. It is also a state of mind. And of course the people you surround yourself with are also important

once you get comfortable living isolated or in a small town i’d say you don’t need anyone as such. Just me & my home grown vegetables & nature to surround myself.

So I don't want to live completely alone. I like to move me back. Sometimes. But sometimes I like to be with people. I also like traveling. But your idea definitely sounds interesting ☺️

Agreed! I moved to a small farm in a small town three years ago and I’d never go back.

how has the life been so far? what do you do the whole day? just curious to know

It’s been amazing. I’ve met some great people in a nearby town, and I work from home building a business mainly over the phone/computer. Otherwise I spend my time fixing and improving the house. I definitely sleep and eat much better these days. I feel much healthier.

i just made this transition in the last few months

i would not go back for anything

man! you inspire me so much already to go into woods.

really happy for you 🫂💜

Keep us up to date! I can't wait to see what happens next for you hp!

honestly & very practically speaking not happening soon for me but i definitely run away every few months to mountains & feel it for days and back to my boring concrete jungle life.

It was definitely a leap, but it’s the best decision I’ve made so far. You’ll get there too! It all starts with an idea.

true! i’m glad it turned out beautiful for you!

yes! someday fingers crossed 🤞

🫂💜🌻

followed because i already saw you once today and you seem like you know what's going down

:salute:

i'm now living in a small town in Madeira... i won't go back to the noise, ever, not even Funchal... next stop will be further up the mountain where it's hard to get around and ideally i find some spot where i see scarcely one other light of humans from my patch - somewhere up high near the area where they have an observatory

mountains is the place to be with … i just want to be able to do that… northern part of India ( Himachal Pradesh )

go there

no matter how much you have to give up

go

not about giving up, but it’s more about to much to build here & then i can plan as have few responsibilities to take care of
