It's literally saving the country too, particularly the weak and vulnerable. So of course human rights groups want to stop it.

There are obviously human rights abuses going on, but the sort of policing necessary probably depends a lot on the population you’re policing.

Can't make an omelette without cracking a few eggs, "human rights" are just an obstacle between us and a healthy, safe society.

I disagree, but it also depends on context. You should look into the background of the president of El Salvador and his wife, I think you’d find it interesting.

Also respecting human rights just creates problems that lead to more human suffering than respecting them prevents. It's a concept invented to subvert societies and everyone who uses them as a banner actually violates them just as much as their enemies, if not worse.

That really only applies to multicultural societies.
