For a TikTok user who wants to preserve their content it may make sense. Cross posted TikTok videos often lack context and therefore aren’t as interesting, due to the way TikTok content is often times built on trending sounds and videos made by other users. Nostr doesn’t replicate that environment.
That’s a damn niche subset of TikTok power user. Keeping in mind a 17 year old girl posting dances doesn’t give a shit.
Nostr as an alternative to TikTok. Users can export their data, import their data and videos to Nostr. All they need is a client with proper media support.
